Information you give us

When you send the contact form on this site, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number (optional), what you are interested in (buying, selling, downsizing, investing or other), and any message you write. If you call, text or email us instead, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, the company that hosts this site (Cloudflare, Inc.) automatically records basic technical information in its server logs when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time. Cloudflare uses these logs to deliver the site and keep it secure.

This site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies, and it does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cross-site advertising tags.

How we use your information

• To reply to your message and answer your questions.
• To provide the real estate services you ask for, including follow-up on consultations and active transactions.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not use your information for advertising on third-party platforms.

Where your information is stored

Messages sent through the contact form pass through Cloudflare, Inc., the company that hosts this website, and are delivered by email to Elliott Macgregor through Resend, an email delivery service. The website itself does not keep a copy. Cloudflare, Resend and their service providers are located in the United States and other countries, so your information may be stored or processed outside Canada, where it may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of those countries. Elliott Macgregor and Big City Realty Inc., Brokerage use your information only to provide real estate services to you.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you have the right to see the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct it. You can also withdraw your consent to our using it at any time. If you ask us to delete your information we will do so, unless we are required by law to keep it (for example, brokerage records of real estate transactions in Ontario).

To make a request, email elliott@bigcityrealty.ca. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at www.priv.gc.ca.

Children

This site is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page for a reasonable period.
